Rest and Relax

A true jewel of Lake Iseo, the elegant and unique villa enjoys a breath-taking view of Lake Iseo and Monte Isola. On the third floor of the villa an exclusive B&B, of 100 square metres, an elegant suite with 2 double bedrooms, bathroom and large living room in open space, with large windows overlooking the lake, suitable for a maximum of 4 people. The exposed whitened beams, the fine parquet flooring, and the furnishing with attention to every detail, make the environment refined and predispose the guest to relax.

Walking along the path through the property, one immediately perceives the particular beauty of the garden overlooking the lake; all around, patches of colours, consisting of azaleas, oleanders, camellias, rose bushes and peonies, outline an unprecedented 'Italian style'.

The Villa is entirely covered with a type of evergreen climbing plant that lends charm and elegance to the structure.

Breakfasts, in the summer, are served in the dehor overlooking the lake, a large table welcomes guests in convivial moments by the lake. A private solarium also makes the place unique.

Explore the Nature

The B&B l'Oleandro sul Lago is located in an excellent spot for discovering the lake landscape and its beauty. A short distance away is the ancient Valeriana road, a lake-view path that runs along the hill from Pilzone to Marone. The rocky pyramids of Zone, a natural erosion phenomenon, will surprise you with their majesty.

A 5-minute drive takes you to Sulzano, from where ferries leave for Monte Isola, the absolute pearl of Lake Iseo, the largest island of the European lakes with a perimeter of 9 km and an altitude of 600 m.

There are many restaurants where you can taste typical local products. There are also many ferries to visit the lakeside villages, or to reach the Vello- Toline pedestrian-cycling track. Don't miss a visit to the villages, the Torbiere nature park and much, much more... On this side of the lake, Iseo is the most important tourist centre, frequented almost all year round, thanks to its fairly mild climate, for the regular wind that allows sailing and windsurfing, for trout and pike fishing, and for its proximity to the historic wine cellars of Franciacorta.

Typical cuisine

There are many typical restaurants in the Lake Iseo area where you can sample the flavours of the past.

These include polenta with “uccellini scappati”, and cansonsei, typical ravioli filled with eggs, cheese and vegetables - especially the pumpkins of Sale Marasino. The lake fish dishes are excellent, roasted or stuffed: trout, whitefish, bleak, pike, tench and the inevitable breaded or fried perch.

The cheeses produced in this area are excellent: taleggio, “formagelle”, robiole and “Rosa Camuna”. A traditional Valle Camonica dessert is the Spongada, a soft and sugary focaccia that is truly exceptional.

Among the typical products to be found in the Lake Iseo area, in addition to the unmissable Franciacorta wines, is 'Salame di Monte Isola', a cured and smoked pork sausage, soft and dark, sweet and spicy.
